Position Overview:
Join as a full-time RN House Supervisor. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of patient care services throughout the night shift. As an expert-level clinician, you will support and direct patient care services, ensuring the safe and efficient throughput of patients while optimizing resources, including caregivers, equipment, and supplies. You will serve as the single point of contact for caregivers, physicians, and others regarding patient transfer or placement and will be responsible for making leadership decisions and providing operational oversight for all hospital departments during your shift.
Your role will be pivotal in promoting patient satisfaction by delivering extraordinary service and ensuring that quality care aligns with our Health & Services’ mission, vision, and values. You will work closely with the Administrator on Call to address any after-hours issues and ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and support patient care services, ensuring optimal use of resources.
Serve as the main point of contact for caregivers, physicians, and others regarding patient transfer or placement.
Promote patient satisfaction and ensure quality care aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
Provide leadership, direction, and operational oversight for all hospital departments during assigned shifts.

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited/approved school of Nursing.
Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
2 years of recent clinical supervisory experience or charge nurse experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (required within 30 months of hire for all Registered Nurses without a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing).
